About the Artist
CJ Gavagan - “Omi”
I am a product of downsizing, rightsizing, whatever the politically correct term is. I first started making Leather Journals in 2000 to keep my sanity  while trying to
find another job in the IT Industry. Little did I know it would
lead to my next career!I made my first Journal when the one I carried everywhere, for many years, wore out. While making my Journal, I fell in love with the feel of the leather, the earthy smell and the soothing process of creating each and every Journal. I love each Journal I create and hope you do too. I handcraft all my leather Journals and sell them all over the world. My love of journaling comes from my 86 year old Father who still faithfully journals every day. CJ Gavagan’s studio is in Chandler, Arizona where she lives with her husband and daughter.  |
